A Gate, Not a Portal: What the Name Means at This Arch

Visitors occasionally arrive at this arch expecting dashboards: network statistics, token listings, charts that move. The arch offers none of that, because a portcullis is not that kind of portal. It is a stone doorway with a heavy iron gate in it, and the only chain involved is the plain iron one that raises it.

That plainness is the studio’s whole position. Nothing here reads a ledger, quotes a price or points anyone toward an investment. The work done under this arch is older and simpler: fictional women, described on written cards, rendered as pictures and clips by a row of eight tools.

Studio credits follow the same rule as the gate: they belong to this building. They are counted here, spent here on pictures, and they are not a cryptocurrency, not a token and not money — they cannot leave, be traded or be redeemed, and the pricing page says so in plain words.

A gate, a chain, an arch of uncarved stone. If you came for the other kind of portal, the honest answer is that it was never here. If you came to make pictures, the gate is up.

What the arch does offer, it offers plainly: eight tools, one card per character, prices printed before jobs run, and work that rests private until its maker says otherwise. That is a smaller promise than a portal’s — and it is kept in full, every day, which the larger kind often is not.
